Hublot’s Big Bang Ladies watch is its most expensive timepiece at $5 Million

Louis Vuitton’s Hublot brand of watches has been in the news for several of masterpiece watches including the Big Bang Diamond men’s watch, known for its opulent diamond studded make. Their latest horological creative, the $5 million Big Bang Ladies watch, comes with a similar dressing of diamonds, and their market is known to rather niche; single ladies only! If one recalls what the Big Bang men’s watch was like, it would be easy to decipher the relation it has with the styling quotient of this exclusive diamond bathed timepiece.

According to researches by the company, the niche market of ultra-luxury ladies watches has grown in volume over the years, and is expected to grow approximately by 30% from 2010 to 2012. Explaining it further from another angle, is the CEO of Hublot Jean Claude Biver when he mentions,

Women are buying more than men, women are buying more often than men and women are very influential over men, so you have three good reasons to work on this population.”

It was also observed that the consumer group is rather varied in its choices; they pick up $1 million bejeweled timepieces with as much interest as the $39,000 tutti-frutti multi-colored lesser glamorous version (seen top left) from the watch maker. This would mean that Hublot will always have a chance to garner interest amongst well-moneyed female consumers, and wouldn’t have issues capitalizing on the market they have captured rather well.

Armand de Brignac: Most expensive champagne brand of the rich and famous

When the billionaires go out to party, champagne and wines is what they spend most of their money on, besides the generous tipping, which at times is not just restricted to a few hundreds but thousands of dollars to waiters and waitresses. We have earlier told you about the Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich rumored $52,000 lunch bill that majored expense on wine and truffles. And, the latest Russian spendthrift in news is another Russian billionaire, whose name remains undisclosed, but has spent a cool $100,000 on a 15L bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne.

The total bill ran into $135,060, including two magnum bottles of Grey Goose, two magnum bottles of Dom Perignon, four bottles of Crisal and three magnum bottles of Laurent Perrier Rosé. And the lucky server too got a handsome $22,510 tip.

This anonymous guy, who is known to be the son of a Russian billionaire, was partying at Chicago’s Board Room nightclub, where he spotted actors Heather Graham and Zac Efron, who were sitting in the same section. In a bid to impress the actors, he dropped a $100,000 on a 15 liter bottle of Armand de Brignac Nebuchadnezzar Champagne, also known as “Ace of Spades.” This is the same champagne bottle (a 30 litre) that was sold for a record-breaking $190,000, earlier this year to Don Johnson, known for his Casinos worldwide.

‘The Midas’ by Armand de Brignac’s is the most expensive champagne choice of the rich and the famous. The champagne house is also known for producing one of the largest bottles of ‘Ace of Spades’ champagne, and also holds the title of being the most expensive bottle of Champagne to be sold at an auction. The bottle measured 100 pounds in weight and needed the efforts of three men to carry it to the venue for display at the auction. The size was known to be the equivalent of 40 regular-sized bottles. It had to be created by eight artists, who ended up making this golden giant bottle, named after Greek mythological King Midas, who could change anything he touched into gold. The auction happened through an exclusive club in London, called OneforOne Park Lane, where Mr. Johnson placed the winning bid.

The champagne brand’s bottles of Ace of Spades are reportedly a favorite of rap star Jay-Z, and have appeared in several of his music videos. Recently, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban spent $90,000 on these golden bottle of Ace of Spades celebrating its team winning in NBA championship at club LIV at Miami’s Fontainebleau.

The other occasions when socializing led to a million dollar bill on expensive champagne include $2.6 million champagne bill of Malaysian billionaire Zhen Low and New York property developer Winston Fisher on 600 bottles of Cristal in a St Tropez nightclub with Paris Hilton as a guest with the group.

West Elm Parsons Audio End Table for your iPhone and iPad

PRETTY ILL IMO

Apple seems to be controlling a lot more than just the tech world alone. Considering its devices and their respective features, even furniture designs seem to move in their direction. We earlier had inspirational furniture in the form of Horus pyramid table, iLounge coffee table. Something on the similar lines is the West Elm Parsons Audio end table, which is more than just a table. It’s a bedroom iPod and iPhone docking station with built-in speakers.

Carrying Apple’s signature style and finishing, the pearl white color of the table with its glossy exterior wooden lacquer stamps its authority of affinity with iPods and iPhones. With charging ports for both, there lies a built-in audio system which you can use to play audio content on your device, while you relax in your bedroom. Its wiring system can be easily connected to most common wall connectors, hence providing an easy device to put up. The 38-inch (width) x 27-inch (height) size shall give you ample space to keep your papers or other stuff on.

Except for a few additional care and assembly tips, there is nothing stopping it from being a part of your next shopping list, especially if you are an Apple freak. With a price tag of $400, a considerably large number of Apple fans can surely look to buy one of these.

Colorware’s $1500 custom paint job for the iPhone 4s

THEYRE OD’ING ON THE PRICES BUT FOR THE PERSON WHO HAS EVERYTHING.

Colorware is looking to cash in on creating custom editions of the iPhone 4s by redoing its skin color, albeit with a $1500 price tag.

With some of the color options we saw, it was almost as if a junior school kid dipped his/her hands, and swiped it over your iPhone. From the prominent reds, shocking yellows, to the mellower purple, Colorware will redo the externals of your iPhone to the color of your choice. This would include redoing the side casing, back cover, and ear phone lining in the particular shade. Also, there are options of models to choose from; 16, 32, or 64 GB. If one purchases the phone directly from Colorware, one would have to shell out the $1,500, but if you already happen to own one, you could get the job done in just $265.
