According to Germany’s Auto Bild, Mercedes-Benz is planning to introduce a coupe version of its GL SUV. The GL coupe, which would presumably launch under the GLC nameplate, would take on upcoming large, sporty SUVs from BMW and Audi.
The GLC would share some front-end styling with the regular GL, but would ditch the SUV’s blocky rear end in favor of a low-slung greenhouse. The GLC’s interior would also be given an added dose of style, albeit at the expense of some practicality.
